We are an architect, a sound designer, and an engineer with a common passion for sound.
Vanessa Buvoli
At the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio, she studied under illustrious names (e.g. Mario Botta, Peter Zumthor, and Aires Mateus). She organized musical events in England, then she started specialising in eco-sustainable architecture after two key experiences: a workshop in the Azores by the New University of Lisbon, and a collaboration with Cre8, young visionaries working with the construction companies for the London 2012 Olympics. With Sonic Forniture, she can finally unite her two greatest passions: architecture and music.
Roberto Vernetti
Acclaimed musician, sound designer, artistic producer, he has navigated the musical revolutions of the ’80s and ’90s, from punk to electronic, encompassing evolutions of hip hop and balancing between underground and mainstream.
He has received several awards: the Critics’ Award at the Sanremo Festival, Best Artistic Producer at MEI, David di Donatello, and the Tenco Award.
With Sonic Furniture, he returns to his original passions: sound and architecture.
Paolo Lupotto
Electronic engineer. In addition to his main activity as a producer of scientific instrumentation in the energy field, for which he is known by major laboratories worldwide, he pursues continuous research in the electronic-sound field.
He is a founding member of NeMo, a consortium for new electric mobility, together with prestigious Italian partners.
With Sonic Furniture, he has been dedicated for several years to experimenting with acoustic systems for environments.
